He'd say...
"Transfer Truck"
We'd say...
"Chipmunk"
He'd say...
"Ground Squirrel"
We'd say...
"Skunk"
He'd say...
"Polecat"
We'd say...
"This is stuck"
He'd say...
"You're puttin' a bind on it"
I can't tell you the number of times I've been told that I'm "putting a bind" on something, or that something is "putting a bind on" something else. Daily. So this is a user's guide to conversations with Mike. Because for better than 6 months into our relationship, I had no idea what a transfer truck was.

Also, today Mike said to "rinse it off with the hose pipe", which is evidently just the hose. Hose pipe?!?
