July 4th with the Teals

We went to Lake Hartwell this weekend to enjoy some time in the lake and a few cold beers. Our friends Jamie and Brad Teal have a lake house there and were nice enough to invite us back. It's been a marriage tradition for me, but a 5-year-running tradition for Mike.



Here we are, floating on noodles, enjoying the hot summer day.



The good news is: Mike trimmed up the beard and hair. The bad news is: his wedding band is now at the bottom of Lake Hartwell. :( It slipped off his finger, which is newly skinnier thanks to his grueling marathon training.
